Linen is one of the oldest fabrics and one of the easiest fabrics to care for. All our linens are machine washable in cool to warm water. Please note: natural fibers can shrink when washed by approximately 5%. The smooth long fibers in linen help resist dirt and stains. We recommend using a gentle PH balanced detergent that is perfect for all natural or organic fibres. You can also pre-soak any stains before washing. Never use bleach, as it destroys natural fibers! If there are stains, use a non-chlorine oxygen bleach. Linen gets better with age and softens the more it is washed. It absorbs water quickly and then dries quickly – perfect for humid climates. Linen is durable and strong, eco-friendly and resists pilling. Line dry. Ironing is optional and easier to do while the linen is damp. Be sure to dry thoroughly before storing.
